Welcome!

The Evangelical Free Church of America is an association of churches founded over a century ago. We are called "evangelical" because we preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and believe the Bible is the Word of God. We are called "free" because the original fathers of the movement, immigrants from Scandinavian countries, sought to distinguish their churches from the state churches in their former homelands.

The Orland Evangelical Free Church was founded over ninety years ago. Our services were conducted in Swedish until the 1920's, when the congregation began transitioning into English. Our current facility was built in the twenties and expanded in the fifties. Our goal is to celebrate our centenary in a new facility.

Sunday Services

Two worship services

8:30 AM and 10:15 AM. These are times to submit ourselves to God publicly by singing both historical and contemporary music, praying for practical needs, confessing our sins, and receiving teaching from the Bible.

Sunday School

For all ages at 10:15 AM, meeting concurrently with the second worship service. June 7th to July 26th, all Sunday School classes will meet together on the church lawn for "Family in Focus."

Question & Answer

At 6:00 PM is your opportunity to enter a discussion about the morning sermon, receiving insights in the Bible through personal interaction with Pastor Raley, and probing for more applications to your life.
