Orland Evangelical Free Church | Missions Week

OEFC is known for its emphasis on missions. Shortly after the first building was completed in 1912, our founders began supporting missionaries - then sending them. That passion has not abated in 97 years.

September 27 to October 4 is our time to highlight some of the missionaries and mission organizations we support. This year we are pleased to welcome Aaron Trank from Jews for Jesus on Sept 27 and Dr Ben Beckner on Oct 4. They will preach at 8:30 and 10:15 am. At 6:00 pm on the 27^th we will hear from members of our congregation about their short-term mission trips working with orphans. The week concludes with a dessert on the 4^th at 7 pm at Murdock Schoolhouse (6051 Co. Rd. 11). We will hear about ministries around the world and feature Phyllis Cleek who will speak about the new and exciting things happening with her ministry in the Middle East.

Missions week is about keeping attention on the work being done abroad. Past investments are still bearing fruit and the future looks bright as we begin to focus on missions to Israel to convert Jews. This has not been a focus of ours but we want to change that.
