The Bible says that once we come to saving faith in Jesus Christ, we are all new babes in Christ. We need to be nurtured into maturity. When Christians receive this care it's called discipleship. But sadly, in our hectic, independent culture no one may know we need help. So, a Christian can toddle along learning a little here and there. But he falls and gets battered and may become depressed or bitter.

This is why SoulCare exists: to care for people when life struggles are hindering their soul's growth and maturity. We operate by coupling the reality of salvation with a nurturing environment of discretion and godly wisdom. This is done in three ways: personal counseling, teaching, and training.

Christians of any age can benefit from personal counseling with trained staff and lay counselors. SoulCare works with individuals and families by providing biblical communication skills, a format for biblical conflict resolution, biblical marriage counseling, and biblical answers for emotional problems like depression, chronic anger, worry, and fear. The Bible has answers for life (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:3-4) and we desire to point people towards those answers - kindly, thoughtfully, and practically .

We teach intimate, intensive classes focusing on specific personal growth issues, such as Self-Confrontation and building skills as a godly wife or husband.

Training opportunities are offered for those ready to lead others through counseling and discipleship. We attend training conferences and take potential leaders with us. We also encourage them to pursue more formal training by certification with biblical counseling organizations.
